We are one of the first training centers of natural wine in Spain
At Al Sur de Granada we really love natural wine. For us, it is more than an incredible drink. We value provenance, believing in small scale producers and taking care of our environment.
We have been working and supporting natural wine producers since 2004, creating a unique space in Granada to enjoy and celebrate natural wine and sustainable food culture.
The next step is very clear for us; teach other professionals and enterprises how to work with natural wine and help them achieve their goals.
Why learn about natural wine?
Natural wine is prevailing. More and more people are currently interested in consuming wine that is made without adding any type of chemical products or additives. From honest producers that care about the environment. Pure wine that lives and breathes. Our aim is to help you fill the gap your clients are longing for, with natural wine.
More than 23 years of experience in the food and wine scene
Since 2004, we have been working with natural wine, being one of the first shops in the world embracing the benefits of it.
Jessica, with more than 23 years of experience in the world of natural wine and gastronomy, will be your consultant during the whole training process.
For over 15 years she was a chef (working in some very renowned restaurants all over Europe). One day she was at a natural wine tasting, and immeditaly fell in love!
The feeling and personality she discovered with these types of wines motivated her to deepen her knowledge and study a course about viticulture and oenology. Additionally, she wanted to learn all about olive oil, so she decided to study to become a maestra de almazara.
Her knowledge in the area turned her into a sensory expert. She can detect every smell and flavour of the wines and also combine them perfectly with food, creating amazing flavour pairings.
Jessica currently works as general manager and business partner of Al Sur de Granada.
