Varieties: Tintilla de Rota 

Style: Albariza red wine with medium tannicity, fruity with a saline touch.

Vineyard: Calderin del Obispo, in the Pago de Balbaina Alta of Sanlucar de Barrameda. Marl and calcareous soils of marine origin, resulting in sandy albariza in the lower part and barajuela and compact tosca in the upper area.

Elaboration:

 Manual harvest at optimal ripening point by grape tasting. Whole cluster maceration for 5 days and spontaneous fermentation. Mixed aging for 7 months in barrel and glazed amphora where malolactic fermentation is completed, with all work done by gravity. Minimal addition of sulfur during racking to barrels.
