El Calar cheeses are made exclusively with raw goat milk. This process results in soft, creamy and smooth cheeses.

These pressed-paste cheeses stand out for their strong aromatic personality with their flavours intensifying as the maturation process progresses.

All El Calar cheeses are artisanal. Due to this, they hardly come with an exact weight, even if the same mold is used every time. There might be subtle variations of grams in the final weight. Thus the reason why we indicate that the weight of these pieces is "approximate".

El Calar is based in Campotéjar, Granada.
