Calaveruela is one of the most conscious projects we know of regarding the welfare of their sheep. The animals graze freely on the Monte Olivete farm, a pasture full of holm oaks where they also sow the cereals and fodder that their animals consume.


This is a third generation farmhouse dedicated to agriculture and livestock, based in Córdoba (Andalusia). Their variety of dairy products is made with raw sheep milk and through a completely artisanal process.

Sheep milk is beneficial for its high content of vitamins, iron, calcium, phosphorus, sodium or zinc. It is also much more digestible than cow’s.

Without any doubt, the quality of Calaveruela's milk translates into their cheeses and yoghurts, all of which are made with care and dedication that, as they themselves say, are an expression of the territory, the landscape and the people from the region.
